ST JOHN'S... INSPIRING
STUDENTS FOR LIFE

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Our school values of being connected, adventurous, empowered and compassionate encompass the whole child’s academic, spiritual, social, physical and emotional growth. Our staff are committed to providing engaging and inclusive learning experiences that celebrate and build on each student’s uniqueness. We believe in providing education that is motivating, achievable and supportive for each individual.

Welcome to St John’s! People often comment that the first thing they notice about our school is the warm community atmosphere. We are a Christian school where everyone knows each other’s name and students actively contribute to school initiatives and culture. Our peaceful rural setting provides an abundance of space for outdoor learning and creative play. Our decisions are based on what’s best for students so they feel valued, safe and inspired to learn.

Education at St John’s provides students with essential skills and knowledge that are then transferred into making meaningful connections within the world around them. Learning is driven by the desire to purposefully make a positive difference within and beyond our school through serving others. Collaboratively designing possibilities and solutions for real-world community needs empowers our students as change makers.

As the longest operating Lutheran school in Australia, we have remained centred on God’s love while responding and adapting to the ever-changing world around us. Just as we equip our students for life-long learning, St John’s is continually innovating to best meet our students’ needs and create a thriving school community where everyone feels seen and heard.

I warmly invite you to book a tour of St John’s to experience what we can offer your child.

At Little Saints Learning Community, we embrace a strong sense of belonging, where every child and family become a valued part of our community. We are dedicated to fostering a warm and supportive environment where children feel secure, encouraged and inspired to explore and learn.

Our team of dedicated Early Childhood Educators is passionate about providing high-quality education and care in spaces that foster independence, creativity and a love for learning. Grounded in Christian values, we encourage children to develop their strengths, connection with others, and the confidence to transition smoothly into new learning environments.

Being within the St John’s community gives us many additional opportunities to demonstrate or philosophy of connecting, valuing and supporting each child’s journey of becoming capable, curious and lifelong learners. I look forward to partnering with your family and invite you to visit us to experience the Little Saints difference.

WHAT MAKES
ST JOHN'S DIFFERENT?

All high performing schools have common elements they promote: quality education, expansive learning environments, qualified educators, and world-leading teaching and learning experiences. St John’s shares all of these qualities, however, our point of difference is how we operate. We place the needs of the child at the centre of all decisions. We live out compassion, dedication and commitment to our families in a caring, Christian environment. Our positive relationships connect everyone, from our youngest team members in Little Saints, through to Year 6 and extending to all members of our school community. Our staff transform our students to be passionate, creative and inspired learners. Families choose St John’s because we are more than just a school - we are one big family.
